The first time I was ever in a darkroom was at 15 years of age. That was the moment I knew I would be a photographer. The smell of developer and fixer still brings back fond memories of my love affair with the camera.
I started out as a newspaper photojournalist. I then worked for Wayne Salvatore Photography as a sport's team photographer, retoucher and office assistant. I then honed my skills with Mary Kroeger Photography as her assistant wedding and portrait photographer, as well as a photojournalism expert. I even had experience working for Sears Portrait Studio when I was in college. It was hectic, busy, crazy at times.... however I ended up with life long friendships and I learned to have patience.
As an experienced photojournalist I had the true pleasure of freelancing for a variety of local newspapers photographing events, sports, and hard news events.
I have an Associates of Arts degree in photography and Bachelors of Arts in Journalism from San Jose State with an emphasis in photography.
I am very outgoing, quirky, and I love to laugh. I do sometimes have a hint of shyness. I consider myself to have a lot of personality. I Love to learn and expand my knowledge whenever possible. I have a true enjoyment of what I do.
